| Comment | if you're happy looking as far out as Kirkintilloch, look at Cumbernauld. most of it is "ok" and the commute time from there is about as long as Kirkintilloch into city centre.
The areas worth looking at are: Kildrum, Seafar, Greenfaulds and the newer estates north of the M80. Carbrain is mostly ok, but some streets are a bit wild. If you look at Carbrain, I'd suggest avoiding Millcroft road, Glenhove road and Wallbrae / Sandyknowes road. The other streets are ok, and handy for most amenities. |
