Comment	I had similar problems and ultimately settled in Duntocher, comes under Clydebank but at the other side of GW road and as close to bearden and Milngavie. Managed to get a 3 bed house with front side and rear garden and garage for 140k. Commute to Glasgow city takes 45 mins on the bus. Have a choice of 3 stations 30 mins walk away or can cycle in 45 mins. For me it's been the best decision I've made. Almost feels rural too Nas have the kilpatrick hills on my door step. Worth a consider I'd say. Good luck. Edit. I went as much over the asking price as I could afford. It wasn't much but it sealed me the deal. Always go in with as much as you think it's worth to you.
