It's not that cold in Glasgow but the humidity is very high (very often above 90%). This means if you walk around even when the temperature is not that high (say 15 C) you can still get very sweaty. I would go for the thinnest windproof jacket you can so you can layer. I like goretex active because I find with cheaper materials I end up sweating like I'm wearing a plastic bag. So I would say any gortex active with a loose enough fit you can get a big warm jumper underneath in the winter if you need it. |
