| Comment | Not sure about getting it done via the nhs and paying, but if it’s that you want an ophthalmologist (eye doctor) to do it/ someone with reliable training, you can look into Ross Hall. My dad did this years ago (before loads of opticians/clinics offered it). He figured since it’s his eyesight that is involved he wanted all the details. He called them, found out who did the procedure, then asked for their CVs. Pretty sure most if not all of them work for the nhs too (generally the case for private practice outside London).
