| Comment | The roller derby teams go through intake periods and it’s a great sport for getting fit! The Glasgow Roller Derby team is the womens team, and they compete internationally so train to a relatively high level. Mean City Roller Derby is a co-ed team (I train with them!) and don’t compete to such a high level so I’ve found them to be a bit more of a relaxed vibe. Both of them will fully teach you to skate before introducing contact, and they’re amazing teams for meeting a bunch of new folk! |
