| Comment | Our upstairs neighbours were barely audible until the landlord decided to update their flooring - totally believe they took out the sound deafening material and had mistaken it for debris / crud under the floorboards. Our neighbours are lovely and not "noisy types" but now we hear every single footfall from them. Not at all their fault and I would never dream of telling them as it could come off as me accusing them of being noisy, I only wish their landlord had researched how old buildings were made and why there is lots of random dusty, lumpy stuff under the floorboards before taking it out :). |
