Great wee area. Park is a big bonus. Leisure centre is pretty decent.
Transport links are cracking cos you’ve got the M8, M74 and M77. Dead easy for town, southside, Paisley or the airport.
Very handy for town and loads buses and cycle lanes. Plenty of parking at kirkdale, it’s quite a quiet wee bit off the main road.
You’d have the local co-op within walking distance and Asda and Morrison’s aren’t far.
Area itself is called Craigton and there’s a good craigton residents association group on Facebook, maybe have a nosey?

Concerts at the park are really infrequent and aren’t any trouble, just give it 30mins after the end time to let the traffic clear and you’re golden. You’ll get a residents parking pass and a wee GS4 person the the top of every street to stop concert goers parking. They’re also a lot quieter than I thought cos the stage is next to mosspark boulevard so they get the worst of the noise. Shut your windows and you’ll barely hear it.

Bit of a bugger when rangers play but (imo) you’re far away enough to not get bothered by folk walking to the game or parking. Just avoid trying Paisley road west about 30mins before and after the game
