| Comment | Right, I’m not crazy but heard rumours and know stories about the st enoch centre being haunted cos it’s was apparently built on an old railway station that had a bad train crash and the station was a known spot for jumpers.
The back corridors and spaces behind the shops had the usual lights flickering and noises and certain spots of the shop were just freezing for no reason but I lost count of the times either me or someone else was in the back, alone in the cash office, and a shadow would go past as if someone was walking past the window but you’d be back there completely alone. Had the occasional staff member mention they’d say they could feel a hand on their shoulder but nobody being around.
Even used to have things fly off the shelves, never during day time. Always at night and come into it in the morning with things on the floor. Not like a fall and drop/roll but more like an push and out sort of thing.
Then there were the inch thick glass shelves cracked clean in half at the middle but still on the wall holding up the stock - just weird stuff so always chalked it up to the crash and jumpers rumour.
(Although also possible the staff were just really invested in winding me up and committed to taking the piss!) |
