| Comment | It seems to be a council thing. There seems to be no major litter clearing operations, where as in East Renfrewshire council things seem a lot cleaner, same in other adjoining council areas.
I regularly access the railway around Clyde Place (south side of the bridge on Bridge Street). There is a bit of waste ground there with trees and grass mounds, just next to Babylon Cafe. The place is absolutely crawling with rats, you can see their little rat runs buried all over the mounds. And the amount of litter in this small area is horrifying, it's been like that for years and no-one ever clears it up. IF you're ever walking past there at night just stand for a few minutes across the street and watch the rats running about. |
