That is AMAZING! 20 years from now, the way your life will run, it won't look at all odd that you don't use the stuff, any more than it looks odd that someone who has never used it in their life doesn't touch it.
You don't walk into the house of a 67 year old retired vicar, clutch at your heart and gasp, "Nae weed!!!"

But the white knuckle days, they're the ones that show you who you really are. When we're numbing out with drugs or alcohol or gambling or whatever we're choosing short term gain with long term pain. Making that decision to quit is also the choice for short term pain and long term gain. I have been reliably informed by those who have never done drugs or alcohol to the extent I thought they were supposed to be done, that this is known as "adulting".
