| Comment | You're bringing a cat over from the USA? Well, there's your problem, ***very*** few landlords will permit pets. Unfortunately one of the better agencies for that is Western Lettings (they won't flat out refuse; I have permitted pets via them before, but I am no longer a landlord).
You could offer an increased deposit, plus to pay for professional deep cleaning at tenancy end.
If the cat can live with someone, that will allow you to get a flat here. Once here you no longer have time pressure and so can find a place that allows pets, then send for the cat.
You could not mention the cat, but that runs the risk of eviction and is the next landlord wants a reference.... |
