For what it's worth, I was never arguing that. Online lectures make total sense for now (I'm a PhD student, I don't want to teach in-person labs yet either), I was just giving my view on the value I got from in-person lectures and what aspects were "impossible to deliver online".
The rest we'll agree to disagree on - I saw the shared collective experience and interaction with lots of different people most days as a key benefit of in-person lectures, other people can get by fine without that and are happy with streamed/recorded lectures alone or in small groups. Both opinions are totally fine. |
