Annoyingly, some people will focus on this man's race rather than the actual issue: he is a male predator.

It doesn't matter what race or ethnicity he is, and focusing on that lessens the actual real issue here. Predators come from every single race and background and to suggest it's mostly Asian men is undermining the issue.

This woman could have, and I'm sure probably has in the past, had very similar from white men.

The issues here are predatory behaviour from men towards women (and don't start on "women can be predators too", because the percentage of male predators Vs female predators is so vast it's not worth bringing in to this), and also society's (especially men's') acceptance of it.

As a straight, white man (one of the biggest bases of this kind of behaviour), I take zero insult or offence when a woman says she doesn't feel comfortable out at night because of men. All this #NotAllMen bollocks just excuses men and makes women feel that their fear is insignificant. If you're a non-predatory man, and you take offense to women saying they have to, at least initially, be cautious of all men, then you need to have a word with yourself. And if you focus on this man's race, rather than his gender, then have another word with yourself.

This kind of behaviour isn't acceptable from anyone. We need to call it out when we see it, not turn a blind eye or say "Just bants". It doesn't look like "bants" for this woman or any other on the receiving end of it.
