I honestly don't understand why this is so difficult then. There's 107 flats available (I entered 450min and 700max) right in Glasgow via Rightmove. You can't sit and mull over a flat for days on end, just take the one you like immediately. Call the agent or tell the landlord as soon as you view it. Offer the deposit right then (they can't make you, but you can offer).
