A flats good when you have good neighbours, but circumstances can change quickly…. And your new neighbour could be a nightmare.
I live in Cathcart…..If buying an older house, ask the obvious questions. When was it replumbed, wired, fuse box etc.
Cathcart is a good area if you can afford / find a house.
Merry Lee, Lang side and clarkston also good / connected to Cathcart area.
Kings park has lots of older 3 bedroom houses.
Another few area that are close.
Carmunnock, nice houses and good bang for your buck.
East Kilbride, some new developments that are quite a bit cheaper than Glasgow … but may all be gone.
Eaglesham also on outskirts, nice area and very affordable.
