Glasgow is such a small city. The majority of properties in the city centre will not be marketed as pet friendly.
The greater glasgow area (well served by trains and buses) is a lot dog friendlier.
There are probably more services in the greater glasgow area than there are in city centre for you.
Also re: places not being nice at all. You might have to adjust your expectations. Scottish housing stock is just different. We love our tenements and take great pride in so many of them. They’re great neighbourhoods. But might not look like much to outsiders.
