| Comment | I used to work for the company doing this (left a month ago). It'll be years and tens of millions of pounds, nobody knows yet cos they don't know the full extent of the problem, since the type of joints that hold up the viaduct carrying the motorway are extremely difficult to access, inspect & fully assess.
The reason you've not seen people working on it yet is because so far its all been structural investigations & groundwork - the temporary propping is going in later this month + next, then the permanent repair work will start after that |
