| Comment | Aye, pretty much this. They were one of the only places you could get vegan food *and* there were loads of good bands and one thing kind of fed the other. I know everyone has a vegan menu now but I cannot tell you how fucking hard it was to eat out as a vegan in the 90s, never mind in a cool place that you actually wanted to go to that wasn’t full of your maws hippy pals.
I’ll always be fond of it because of that, Craig Tannock and Linda McCartney kept me alive in those days |
