I bought one that went for £5k over and lost out on one just prior to that which went for £17,100 over (which was just over 10%).

It’s literally down to chance whether there’s multiple bidders or just one or two.

The problem is we’re both not building enough new homes and artificially inflating the population through mass immigration - like it or not that’s what’s driving house prices.

Will there be a drop in prices? I just can’t see it - my neighbour is an EA and thinks it’ll dip but couldn’t explain why he thought that other than prices are too high and rising too fast.
