10% over HR seems to the norm in south side at moment. I feel your pain. Me and my partner are currently in house hunting hell at moment…

In saying that you can be lucky. For example seller might br looking for quick sale, or if you are looking to get a ‘doer upper’ that needs renovation.

Also the south side (and west end) is in total demand but there are other parts of Glasgow and surrounding areas where prices not (quite) as nuts. So widening search may be option.
