It's not a threat, its so that you know which Jimmy or Dave your talking to. I work in a different field with over 500 people and the amount of times I get a call and someone says " oh, dave called me.... " I'm like ffs dave who!
When someone asks for my full name I don't mind. I'm confident I'm doing my best.
