| Comment | So a lot of studios now have card facilities, but there's a few reasons it's not a thing, so the studio will get a 5-15% charge of the amount you pay (which means the potential cost going up and gloves have already increased 5 fold in 18 months) also most places each artist is self employed so they deal with their own takings at the end of the day and give their split to the studio so taking a card payment means getting potentially taxed on income you haven't actually made and then also having the pain on the arse of giving the daily rent to the owner of the studio. And also a lot of tattooists don't like the thought of pwople putting it into a card to have debt for a tattoo. I know some of the business themed studios do credit and I personally don't agree with that at all. |
