| Comment | Aye its the attitude. People constantly dump shite outside my block (takeaway boxes, coffee cups etc) and I pick it up once every week or two. The bag is always full. But folk look at you like you've got two fucking heids for doing it. Some guy was walking past and asked what I was doing - the fuck does it look like I'm doing?
I was up in Lewis earlier this year to see family and the place was spotless. I get that it's different on the islands but people have pride in their surroundings and community. It just isn't like that in Glasgow.
Dunno, it's easy to say there's not enough bins (and I agree, some bins round my bit mysteriously disappeared in the last year) but there's zero personal responsibility for most people. I don't know how you change that. |
