Another vote for Cumbernauld House Park. Also a walk around Broadwood Loch is a lovely way to spend an hour or so with some lovely views without going too far.
Further afield, Islay is stunning. We've also recently come back from a stay in Insch which was really lovely. Some of the scenery was incredible when driving about.
