What about primark or h&m? They both have a basics range where stuff is pretty cheap. Either that or check out some of the larger supermarkets that do clothing. Just avoid the branded stuff (Marvel, Disney etc) and it should be fairly cheap.
The alternative is to check out your local charity shops and have a hunt through the rails :)
