It’s tricky to know without context but I would say if they were taking the piss it’s a mild leg pull. But equally ‘ how’s it going doll’ can be perfectly innocent. In North East of England guys call each other love or pet. Either way don’t overthink it because making a thing of it - is a sure fire way to make a thing of it which will stick. Myself and my mates have known each other for many years and we are merciless with each other but very polite with people we might not like or are just not sure about. So even if they are taking the mick it might just be a sign they like you |
