I THINK when I was a wee boy older women might have called me it as a term of endearment but the only other times I’ve heard it has been when referring to a woman. Having said that, I can’t remember the last time I ever heard someone say it- probably a Frank McAvenie sketch in Only an Excuse when it used to be half decent!
