Calling the first, divey location, in the other half of an electrical substation, of a Barras stall, "wanky, West End" anything, is just ignorance. Fopp was a national chain out of Glasgow, that grew from here, and rightly people were proud of that. They are sad to see that go.
The zealous categorisation of anything in the West End as "pretentious" or "wanky", regardless of reality, by certain people on this board, comes off as sour grapes. There's plenty to legitimate rip into about the West End, your blind flalling at anything 'West End related' makes you sound skipping records. |
