I believe that Glasgow is somewhat unique in that it has more housing association accommodation than most cities. We've got the Glasgow Housing Association, that typically manages tower blocks and what might have been once called council estates, and is the biggest social landlord in Scotland. Below that we've got about a dozen smaller Housing Associations that have localised specialisations - most roughly identifiable by their name, Southside Housing Association for example manages properties south of the Clyde.

I think contacting GHA is the best starting point as one of their priorities is to house people needing adaptions in their home. I think, as of a few years back, you can make one application to GHA and 12 other local housing associations at the one time, adding yourself to a shared register as you might be familiar with. You might be able to, or indeed need to, apply to others separately.

I recommend the Citizen's Advice service for guidance as they will know more than me and they are better equipped for offering support by phone and email after the pandemic meant shifting to WHF for most of their volunteers.
