| Comment | Tried ringing them but apparently it’s not their department. I’ve ended up just complaining to OpenRent (the lettings agent), as “photos do not match description” category according to the woman on the phone.
Gave the excuse that it just makes all private landlords (particularly via that agent) look bad, which is true enough - this just offends my professional ethics if nothing else, feels like you have a vague responsibility to poke at other people in the same job as you if they don’t behave decently. Just a shame that there seems to be no official way to do it except by whatever tenant gets this place eventually making a complaint to the council, and given their obvious tenant selection tactics I see little hope of that happening. |
