I never thought I'd have much sympathy for pigeons as they can be wee bastards at times too but the poor wee shites have nothing on seagulls. I regularly see the ones on Sauchiehall Street scoping out the resident pigeons for a tasty lunch time snack. A homeless guy once rescued a pigeon from the jaws of a seagull. It was a great thing to see.
