I'm Aberdonian and there are a good few overlapping words in Doric. I stayed in Stockholm on exchange years ago and my mum was laughing about every exit saying "Utgång". If any Scots ever fancy learning a language I'd recommend Nordic ones as they're pretty easy for us!
