Where in Glasgow are you? There are Sparrowhawks that nest in Dawsholm park and they can seem huge in the city landscape. One flew past me when I was walking my dog a few years back and it frightened the shite out of me! They’ve been seen on the south side too as they fly across the river to the Govan / Braehead area.
