Have you looked into whether your current company would put you through any additional training to allow you to swap job roles in your company? They obviously don't need to know that your end goal is to be your own boss but a lot of places will put you through training as long as you stay for example two years after completing the training. My current employer let's you leave within the two years but you pay back a portion of the training costs. If you're planning on doing it yourself anyway you'd have already been paying so probably won't make a big difference for you. |
