1. Easier to make acquantances in London, easier to make friends in Glasgow (or anywhere outside London). In London there is always stuff on, usually somewhere more central that everyone travels in for but you end up meeting someone from the other side of the city and you will meet them for as long as you keep going to the same things (nobody travels between boroughs in London), Glasgow is small enough that you can run into people more and keep in touch with people even if they live in a different part of the city
2. London is hotter in the summer and a bit more dry, but I would consider them fairly similiar whereas somewhere like Edinburgh I would consider quite different (a lot colder, more dry and windier, less "grey")
3. Glasgow is pretty decent for food, Scotland in general is pretty bad foodwise and so if you pick somewhere at random then the chances are its not going to be great, but if you are picking places to go to it will be quite a long time before you run out of places to try in Glasgow (particularly Indian)
4. Lots more addicts and drunk idiots etc in Glasgow, probably more likely to get some shit shouted at in Glasgow, but a bit more likely to be robbed / stabbed in London, thats how I felt at least. I live central and dont feel particularly unsafe.
