In Scotland, when parking on private land (such as a supermarket carpark), any parking fine issued should be issued to the person who parked the car that led to the fine being issued. It is not always the case that the driver, at the time of the fine being issued, and the owner if the car are the same person.

Companies such as Horizon Parking will issue the fine to the owner of the car, based on car registration and contact info obtained from the DVLA. It is possible that the driver and the owner are two different people, so it is possible that the fine has been issued to the wrong person.

If Horizon parking were to take you to court over the parking fine, the onus lies with them to demonstrate that the person the fine was issued to is the person who was driving the car when it was parked. If the parking company cannot demonstrate this, they do not have a leg to stand on.
