Lol I've swam in Loch Lomond countless times. There's nothing inherently dangerous about the loch itself. More people trying open water swimming = more accidents, same as any activity where risk is involved. I'm an exceptionally strong swimmer and a trained lifesaver - I wouldn't go swimming alone if I wasn't. I'd be the one jumping in to help the drowning person!
