| Comment | I met him, albeit when he was visiting the Beatson, and was so impressed with him. He was early and just sat with a group of patients in the cafe as if he'd known them all his life. No pretension at all and was happy to talk to their parents and answer their quick fire questions. He'd brought us all DVDs of his show but didn't have enough so popped into Clydebank asda on the way to buy more.
When my pal was dying he would go up to visit him to play Fifa (or whatever the young ones were playing in 2011) with him. My pal was a diehard Rangers fan as well so I think it was alway celtic v rangers games 😂 Kevin never posted about it, he wasn't doing it for press he was genuinely being a good guy and it meant a lot.
So aye, got a lot of respect for him. I've met a fair few folk through cancer stuff and he's by far my favourite because he's just a normal guy. |
