That's a terrible state of affairs and I am sorry that has happened to you both.
I can't help unfortunately but it might help if people understood your budget for accommodation. Also while just getting a roof over your head is #1 priority it might also help to know what university? Reason I ask is there are 3 main ones and while not hugely far apart the location might help as 2 are in the city and one in the west end.
Also what's your view on travel to university? Could a place outside Glasgow with good transport work or is city location needed?
