In 2001 my maw and her pals took me and their weans on an anti drugs march through Glasgow. They'd got the idea the night before when they were pished and had to follow through with it because they'd told us the shows would be there. There was all these celebrities there including none other than Jimmy Saville. We saw them at the buffet in the peoples palace and it was an iconic moment until we found out he was a paedo. |
