Very sorry to hear about your state of affairs. As an international resident who had to find accommodation in the space of a week myself, I would recommend SpareRoom and Gumtree. You can find double bedroom lets for short-long term, at good rates. Be warned they get taken up really quickly, so be sure to contact adverts ASAP. I hope you manage to find a place!
