| Comment | TBH, I didn't fancy the commute to Edinburgh for slightly more money than I'm on (I'd end up under a tenner a week better off for a much longer commute after travel costs) so I'm not too fussed
I think they're used to dealing with people who have the BRP, and the person I was dealing with had no clue that British citizens don't have them, only people who have moved here. I wasn't being discriminated against, just banging my head against a wall trying to get them to understand "I can't physically get the thing you want, the thing I've given you will work fine for proof of right to work here" after about 5 hours of back and forth emails and short phone calls I just gave up. |
