If you want to rent privately and don't have a guarantor, then you need to offer a few months rent up front to secure a place in most circumstances. This seems like an issue you should have sorted way before you arrived. You can spend quite a lot of money on a one bedroom, so I can only assume that you can afford to rent out an Airbnb until you can find suitable accommodation. |
