| Comment | i agree with you on both points. honestly, as much of a leftie as i am (and most people traditionally are more left wing than they actually realise on a political compass test) i often don't think "cancelling" is the answer. i've seen lot's of shitty people basically use the excuse of "oh i can't be \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ because i'm left wing" which is something i do dislike.
from what i've read/heard about janey godley, her crime in the court of public opinion was a few racist/tone deaf tweets from 7+ years ago. yeah, that'll put a sour taste in my mouth in the same way as it would if someone on any side of the political isle would, i'll keep that in mind if i ever do decide to consume her media. honestly, the only thing i know her from is that infamous "trump is a c\*\*t" photo. which i do agree with, he is. |
