| Comment | I DJed in there, when my mate who usually did it got a better offer one night, and yes they do. The people going there look like they're on the biggest night out of their lives. Loads of them probably are. The staff are super nice, despite this - they're genuinely nice, not G1 wine-bar 'nice'.
Whether it's couples or groups, people act like they're up the Burj Khalifa when they're in there. There's a surprisingly decent beer option, not that much of it gets drunk - all about the colourful cocktails and the pouty photos. Thing is, the vast majority of photos that people take in there will look like total shit because it only really looks good at night and at night all the internal lights are reflecting on the windows, so that photo of the BBC building with yer pal doing a duckface isn't even going to look like anything.
Whole thing is a photo-op for the unimaginative, but there are worse places. |
