If you don't have it on video there's not a lot they will do. Years ago I went to a service users house and he picked his dog up and flung the poor wee thing across the room, I phoned the SSPCA and they went up and took the dog but gave it back to him 2 days later. Guy was a fucking prick to that wee soul.
