My wife and I did the Cardonald evening course back in 2015. It was a good intro into tiling, DIY, woodwork, fixing common radiator/toilet/tap problems. It’s definitely saved us from calling out a tradesperson a few times. We did the level 1 intro course, there was a more advanced level 2 one (which we didn’t go to)

Think it was 6 evenings (2 plumbing, 2 woodwork, 2 tiling & painting)
