| Comment | I wouldn't support their cause, but I'd support their right to congregate. You're using Nazis as an example while suggesting that only people you like should have basic human rights, which is kind of how the Nazis viewed the world.
Do you understand that point? It's not complicated.
Do you want to allow the following the right to congregate...Nazis, Tories, Gay pride, Irish republicans, pro-palestinians, pro-israelis, orange order, white folk, black folk, Asian folk, Muslims, Buddhists, Scientologists, Jews, fascists, anti-fascists?
If you're going through the list looking to ban the right to human assembly for groups you don't support you need to think about things a bit more.
Supporting the right to congregate does not equal supporting the cause of those people. |
