| Comment | Sauna and steam room not open. It's a mix of lanes and "recreational swimming" which means hundreds of families and toddlers.
There's only one lane for each speed so it's Russian roulette whether the slow lane is going at an OK pace or folk are literally walking/unable to complete a full length at any given time. Middle lane is invariably full of folk who should be in the fast lane and fast lane is a laugh a minute when someone who doesn't understand the setup gets in and holds them all back.
Don't try to swim lengths in the recreational section, you'll lose the will to live.
ETA: showers etc have been open for months. Sometimes they'll tell you what cubicle to use. |
