If you’re going indie shopping Strangebrew is smack bang in the middle of Shawlands.
It’s very buzzy at the moment. West end was traditionally the ‘trendy’ spot. It expanded out to Finnieston in the last decade and then more recently Shawlands/Strathbungo is ‘the area’.
If you’re wanting to ‘live like a local’ would highly recommend brunch there and there’s plenty of pubs for your dad. (Personal favourite the Allison Arms) |
